College Street Pub

My Wife and I love College Street Pub, it has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. If you are looking for old fashion type club sandwich, fish and chips, or a shrimp basket, this is a place you need to try.

The food was good, my reason for a 3 star review is it's a small place and when we went it must have been close to capacity and we sat at a table next to the bar so I feel like we were a but hidden so we weren't visited besides the initial order and when our food was brought out so no refills or items needed were given. They also have a black board with additional items that are not on the menu are displayed, this would have been good to know when we sat down as it was our first time here, I saw it when we were walking out and the bar covered it where we were sitting. Lastly there is a cute cat roaming around freely through the restaurant, he was cute but not sure I like the thought of cat hair in my food.

Fun pub. The bartenders were very professional and polite. The beer is good and it's a really interesting ambience. Super cute decorations

Nice atmosphere. Waitress was super cute and sweet. Food was pretty decent.

Very cozy. Food is good and the beer is cold. Staff is great. We go here probably once a week. I feel like Norm on Cheers when I walk in. Everyone knows my name. Great neighborhood establishment.

I love coming here at any time of the year. Unfortunately, I have become gluten intolerant but my server was very helpful in finding an item that was gluten free! House nachos were big enough for two and delicious!

Loved the dog (and kitty) friendly patio. My pup loved watching the kitties play. We enjoyed our meal as well. The french burger was delicious and the onion rings were possibly the best I've ever eaten. Service was prompt and friendly too!

1st time visiting Waxachitie (sp?). Friend too me to this pub. OMGoodness the pub chips are out of the world and the loaded nachos were some of the best I've eaver eaten. I am willing to drive an hour again just to go have a meal here.

Good burger, good pricing, good drinks. Outdoor seating features several feline companions who are happy to share your meal with you.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Waxahachie... the food is great and the bear is cold. Not the best if you are in a big hurry... but a great place to eat and hang out with friends!

We absolutely will be coming back here! The service and food were excellent. From the time we entered this establishment we knew it was going to be a special experience. We ordered the fried pickles, french burger, cabano burger, chicken coronation sandwiches and waffle fries, we all loved the food. We spoke a couple next to us and they have been coming here for years and said the food is always consistent. Oh and they had a Bloody Mary Bar and the dessert was heaven.

Great food, friendly people, homey atmosphere! I had their house nachos - best nachos I’ve had!! I definitely couldn’t finish them but we’re too good too leave behind. My husband had the best Blue Cheese and Bacon burger ever - cooked just as he ordered. They gave him grilled onions instead of raw for the same price! French Fries had the skins and were cooked just right. Prices were fair for the portions.

The owner seems to be there around the clock. Employees seem to be Happy and willing to help. Its a fun place to be.

English style pub,, take it from me,, pretty close,, multiple visits, always good, great selection of beers, good varied menu,, Fish and Chips was damn good,, quiet in the daytime but gets busy in the evening, extra seating to the rear, outside covered area with heating when needed, staff very attentive and friendly,, all in all a great attempt at a piece of England in WaxahachiAnd from an English man, that's a big thumbs up,,, 👍

Awesome place to go to eat and hang out with friends. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is outstanding. We love this place, only thing I would change is make it just a wee bit larger. The selection of brews is pretty darn awesome also!

The steakhouse burger was good with the side winders. I had the Saison from Lakewood and it was excellent. They were very busy and we could not sit outside. We say at the bar and it was fine. Recommend coming here.

FREAKING AWESOME!!! It is what it is... a Pub... and you don't have to travel to the United Kingdom. Prices are reasonable. The food is good. The staff and atmosphere are perfect. If you want to experience real Fish & Chips w/a Pint of Guinness, without leaving Waxahachie, Texas, this is where to go!

College Street Pub is one of favorite places to visit in Waxahachie. I love the atmosphere and the people. I especially love the patio and the restaurant cats! They are adorable! If you are looking for a cozy place to get some Irish food this is your place.

While this place often has a wait, it is worth it. The food is good but the best part is the atmosphere. I recommend sitting on their awesome patio. They also have cute cats. Their coronation chicken salad sandwich is awesome. I also really love the Shepards pie.

Good food, good company. Friendly atmosphere where everyone is greeted as a friend. Food is above expectation and not topical bar fare. Good selection of beers on tap. Go visit, you'll like it.

Kelsey and her husband took fantastic care of us! Excellent service, food, -the BEST bloody marys, and sweet outdoor cats that visit! We came here last year to escape the hurricane path and our revisit is fantastic!

Great selection of specialty brews & has Guiness on "draft" at all times. Typical of authentic British pubs, small & dark inside. It has a wonderful, covered deck area out back with resident cats that appear from time to time. They love to mingle but are not a nuisance. Owner & family on site & very friendly & knowledgeable about the different beers that are offered. Sometimes has a live music. Menu filled with delightful variety of foods to please anyone.

A great place to meet up with friends. Was nice and quiet for lunch. We sat out in the back patio and joy the weather and atmosphere of the place.

Our first time that we went was amazing the food was Great! And I loved the cider! My husban asked me how did I pick this place out? I told him I read the reviews and they were correct! Great food, great staff, great drinks!

The food was great and there is a splash pad near that and its fun and also there are cats and you can feed them and pet them and love on them

I had the chicken curry sandwich not too bad. This place is just a little hang out spot if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. Seating is limited in this place, it's a tad bit snug.
